One driver has died after a vehicle collision on southbound Highway 99 Tuesday morning.
The crash at 8:47 a.m. involved a commercial vehicle and a smaller flat-deck truck on Highway 99 between Blundell Road and Steveston Highway, according to BC Highway Patrol in a media statement.
Members with the BC Highway Patrol, Richmond RCMP and BC Emergency Health Services were on the scene shortly after the crash.
BC Coroner's Services, Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Services and Commercial Vehicle Safety Enforcement are also assisting with the investigation.
Highway 99 southbound, between Highway 91 and Steveston Highway, is closed with no estimated time of re-opening.
