A teenager was taken to hospital Friday afternoon after being hit by a vehicle near Departure Bay Road and Loat Street in Nanaimo, say Nanaimo RCMP.
The call came in to the RCMP shortly before 2:30 p.m. The driver remained at the scene, police said.
The teen’s injuries did not appear to be life-threatening.
