The Victoria Jazz Society has cancelled the 27th edition of the Vancouver Island Blues Bash due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The organizers cite the federal decision to close the border to non-essential travel and the sa国际传媒 provincial ban on gatherings exceeding 50 people as reasons for their decision.
The event had been scheduled for Sept. 5 to 7
The society is asking for people to consider making donations to the non-profit organization, which is a registered charity. Tax receipts will be issued for donations of more than $20.
