sa国际传媒’s police watchdog is investigating after a cyclist was struck by a marked police car in Brentwood Bay.
The incident took place around 10 p.m. on Tuesday, and the Central Saanich Police Service notified the Independent Investigations Office of sa国际传媒 the same day, the IIO said.
The police vehicle struck the cyclist in the 7100-block of Wallace Drive, the department told the IIO.

The IIO, an independent civilian oversight agency of police in sa国际传媒, investigates all officer-related incidents that result in serious harm or death, whether or not there is an allegation of wrongdoing.
