Two suspects have been identified related to profanity-laced graffiti discovered last week on a Pride crosswalk in front of a Langford middle school.
West Shore RCMP said Wednesday they continue to investigate the incident as mischief under the Criminal Code.
On June 27, West Shore RCMP released two surveillance videos taken different nights that showed the rainbow crosswalk in front of Spencer Middle School on Goldstream Avenue being damaged.
One of the videos included two people, while the other had just one person.
The graffiti, since removed by the city, included profanity.
Police said one person appeared in both videos and has turned himself in.
The 22-year-old man was arrested for two counts of mischief and released with several conditions, including that he not be on any Sooke School District property.
The second suspect has been identified but has not been located by officers, police said.
