The trail at Sooke’s Whiffin Spit Park will be closed for routine seasonal maintenance on Monday.
The closure will be in effect starting at 7 a.m., with large equipment being used to deal with debris and other concerns.
The work will enhance the trail’s quality and safety for all users, the District of Sooke said.
“We apologize for any inconvenience this closure may cause and appreciate the public’s co-operation,” the district said in a statement.
The trail is expected to reopen at 4 p.m. on Monday.
