BOSTON (AP) 鈥� Massachusetts congresswoman Ayanna Pressley is upset that her beloved Mariah Carey Christmas album has gone missing, but she needn't worry 鈥� she was promised a replacement copy courtesy of the five-time Grammy winner herself.
鈥淭his is a PSA or a warning depending on how you choose to take it,鈥� the Democrat said in a Friday. 鈥淲homever 鈥榖orrowed鈥� my #MariahCare Christmas vinyl, return it. You can leave it at my office door, no questions asked.鈥�
She quickly followed with another tweet saying she was 鈥渟o heated鈥� she left off the 鈥榊' in #MariahCarey.
It wasn鈥檛 long before Carey back: 鈥淚鈥檒l send you a new one!!鈥�
Pressley was surprised by the response. 鈥淚s this really THE one and only, the incomparable, iconic and legendary @MariahCarey aka Mimi?" she tweeted.
Carey actually has several Christmas albums: 鈥淢erry Christmas" was released in 1994, 鈥淢erry Christmas II You鈥� was released in 2010, as well as Christmas soundtrack albums put out in 2017 and 2020.
It's unclear which one Pressley was referring to.
