Here's a list of September inflation rates for selected Canadian cities

OTTAWA — sa¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½'s annual inflation rate was 1.6 per cent in September, Statistics sa¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ says. The agency also released rates for major cities, but cautioned that figures may have fluctuated widely because they are based on small statistical samples (previous month in brackets):

— St. John's, N.L.: 1.1 per cent (1.7)

— Charlottetown-Summerside: 1.4 per cent (1.6)

— Halifax: 1.2 per cent (1.5)

— Saint John, N.B.: 0.8 per cent (2.3)

— Quebec City: 1.2 per cent (1.4)

— Montreal: 1.8 per cent (1.8)

— Ottawa: 2.4 per cent (2.4)

— Toronto: 2.4 per cent (2.7)

— Thunder Bay, Ont.: 2.3 per cent (1.7)

— Winnipeg: 0.9 per cent (1.1)

— Regina: 0.8 per cent (1.0)

— Saskatoon: 0.8 per cent (1.5)

— Edmonton: 1.8 per cent (1.7)

— Calgary: 2.1 per cent (2.3)

— Vancouver: 1.7 per cent (2.2)

— Victoria: 1.9 per cent (2.4)

— Whitehorse: 1.8 per cent (1.4)

— Yellowknife: 1.2 per cent (1.1)

— Iqaluit: 1.5 per cent (1.2)
