Canadian Natural Resources Ltd. (TSX:CNQ). Energy. Down two cents, or 0.03 per cent, to $71.49 on 13.9 million shares.

Companies in the news:
Kinross Gold Corp. (TSX:K). Up 47 cents, or 10.83 per cent, to $4.81. The company has announced an enhanced share buyback program following what the company calls "constructive discussions" with activist investor Elliott Investment Management LP. The Toronto-based miner said in a news release Monday that it will buy back $300 million in shares over the remainder of the year, and will allocate 75 per cent of excess cash to repurchase its own stock in 2023 and 2024.
Dye & Durham Ltd. (TSX:DND). Up eight cents, or 0.62 per cent, to $12.96. Australia's Link Administration Holdings Ltd. is rejecting proposed changes Dye & Durham Ltd. has made to its takeover offer. Toronto-based Dye & Durham lowered its bid from an original $4.81 (Australian) per Link share to $3.81, plus up to $1 per share depending on the outcome of a British watchdog's review.
