Sooke RCMP arrested two people and seized an assortment drugs and weapons after a recent investigation.
Suspected fentanyl, heroin, methamphetamine, GHB 鈥� sometimes called the date-rape drug 鈥� and benzodiazepine were found May 21, along with a hatchet, brass knuckles, a baton, a knife and a machete.
Police said drugs and weapons are an unfortunate combination in the drug trade, and they are committed to targeting both.
They are looking for further suspects in the case, and would like to hear from anyone with information about drug trafficking in Sooke at 250-642-5241. Information can be given anonymously at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
