Meanwhile, in souther Ontario, commuters heading to work this morning are being advised to budget extra time because of snow covered roads. Travellers are being told to check bus, train and flight schedules before heading out.

All day classes at Humber College and the University of Guelph-Humber have been cancelled, and campus services are closed.

In Boston, zLogan International Airport says it is preparing for the winter storm arriving overnight and expected to affect the area Monday into early Tuesday.

The Massachusetts Port Authority, which operates Logan, said crews will be working through the storm to keep it open unless conditions make snow removal operations unsafe.
