FREDERICTON 鈥� Rising waters are causing problems across parts of New Brunswick today, flooding homes, businesses and roads.
The village of Sussex Corner has declared a state of emergency and is co-ordinating boats to rescue people from their homes.
Mayor Steven Gillies says 120 homes and 10 businesses have been flooded but he says no one is in danger.
In the neighbouring town of Sussex, Mayor Marc Thorne says dozens of homes are flooded after the Trout Creek spilled its banks.
He says emergency crews are escorting people from their homes because of the strength of the currents.
River Watch officials say the town of Woodstock also has flooding, and a boil-water order has been issued.
RCMP say there are flooded roads throughout the province and are advising motorists not to purposely drive through flooded areas.
