Saskatchewan's highest court has rejected the appeal of a man convicted of shooting two Mounties to death.
Curt Dagenais was hoping to have his convictions overturned by the Saskatchewan Court of Appeal.
Dagenais admitted shooting the officers after a chase on country roads near Spiritwood in 2006, but claimed it was self-defence.
The appeal claimed the trial judge erred when he failed to put the defence of provocation to the jury. The three-judge panel dismissed the appeal as soon as it had finished hearing arguments. -
