REITERALM, AUSTRIA 鈥 Canadian Reece Howden earned his first World Cup men's ski-cross victory of the season Sunday.

Howden, of Cultus Lake, sa国际传媒, anchored a three-medal performance by the Canadian team. Marielle Thompson of Whistler, sa国际传媒, captured a silver medal while Britt Phelan of Mont-Tremblant, Que., took home the bronze in the final World Cup event of the season.

"It feels amazing," Howden said in a statement from Alpine sa国际传媒. "It鈥檚 been a long pull for me this year and a tough road, but I figured something out today and I want to remember this and keep on trucking and build the confidence back up,."

Thompson, 29, earned a silver medal at last month's Beijing Winter Games.

"I'm happy to be skiing fast and feeling good on my skis in this comeback season," she said.

Thompson competed in China despite suffering a serious injury last March.

Phelan was happy with her result.

"I didn鈥檛 have the quickest start but made some really good passes throughout the day to end up in the big finals with a couple of my teammates which was fantastic," she said. "A good day on a fun track!鈥
