HAMILTON — The Hamilton Tiger-Cats signed free-agent Canadian receiver Lemar Durant on Monday.
Durant, 29, was released by the sa¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ Lions on Jan. 21.
Durant played nine games with sa¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ last season, registering 24 catches for 263 yards while also rushing once for 18 yards.
The six-foot-two, 218-pound Vancouver native has appeared in 74 career regular-season games over six CFL seasons with Calgary (2015-18) and sa¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ (2019, 2021). He has 183 catches for 2,353 yards and 13 TDs.
Durant was named the top Canadian of the 2018 Grey Cup game when Calgary defeated Ottawa 27-16.
