Wolf makes 26 saves, Stockton Heat snap Canucks' streak with 3-1 win

STOCKTON, Calif. — Luke Philip had a goal and an assist, lifting the Stockton Heat to a 3-1 victory over the Abbotsford Canucks in American Hockey League play on Friday. 

The Canucks (30-20-5) struck first, with Guillaume Brisebois scoring his second of the year 1:46 into the game. 

But three straight goals from Philip, Jakob Pelletier and Justin Kirkland helped the Heat (38-11-5) take a third straight victory. 

Stockton's Dustin Wolf notched 26 saves and Michael DiPietro stopped 32-of-34 shots for Abbotsford. 

The Canucks went 0 for 3 on the power play, giving up a short-handed strike near the end of the first period. The Heat were 1 for 2 with the man advantage. 

The loss snaps a four-game win streak for Abbotsford.
