Islanders love to blame sa国际传媒 Ferries for pretty much every ill. On the Prairies, it was 鈥淕od damn the CPR,鈥� and here on the coast, ferries are our favourite whipping boy.
But I was down on the ferry deck not long ago looking at a sa国际传媒 Ferries van full of water bottles. Apparently, it was destined for Saturna Island, where we have had water-plant issues and been boiling water for weeks. It鈥檚 a Christmas gift from sa国际传媒 Ferries, which heard from the Capital Regional District that islanders were at their wit鈥檚 end.
So give credit where credit is due. It was a class gesture, if you ask me. We might have to wait until the new year to start whipping again.
