I first noticed it in grammar school. A clueless administrator would create a rule that would punish or limit the freedom of all students because of the transgression of a few. This also happens in the workplace. A business creates a rule that diminishes the freedom of all workers (or customers) because of the stupidity or incompetence of a few.
Now, it鈥檚 the NDP鈥檚 turn to act in this ridiculous fashion. The speculation-tax privacy invasion, money-laundering regulations, limits on ICBC payouts and at least a dozen other NDP actions serve to punish, limit the freedom or invade the privacy of everyone.
Rather than beefing up the investigation and prosecution of the wrongdoers, tax evaders and criminal enterprises, the NDP is forcing all of us to accept policies and regulations we don鈥檛 want, don鈥檛 benefit from and, most importantly, didn鈥檛 expect to happen when we voted for the NDP.
