It鈥檚 interesting that the front page of the Sunday edition is a story of injustice when failing to blow for an impairment test. Page A3 is the sad story of Sarah Beckett, killed by an impaired driver. Impaired and distracted drivers cause most accidents and deaths on sa国际传媒 roads.
So, what is a police officer supposed to do? In the case on page A1, do more followup on sobriety 鈥� how about a blood test? I agree with the lawyer: Where is due diligence on behalf of law enforcement? Do the job and do it well.
Do it right to get impaired and distracted drivers off our roads now. And excessive speeders 鈥� no judgment needed.
To all those officers who do this difficult job: Thank you. You are saving lives.
