There is a larger issue in the SNC-Lavalin debacle.
Jody Wilson-Raybould and Jane Philpott have 鈥渟chooled鈥� the prime minister. All the players have served the interests of sa国际传媒 badly. Unfortunately, we all lose in the blood sport of politics.
This is a time sa国际传媒 needs solidarity, in the face of U.S. President Donald Trump and China taking turns throwing our country under the international-trade bus. Trump鈥檚 game is 鈥渄ivide and conquer鈥� for his handlers. China鈥檚 is to manipulate international discord for the best trade deal possible, being a largest customer, as they are in the canola market. Their advantage in our political discord will cost sa国际传媒 agriculture billions and reduce our international standing.
It is time for our elected politicians to 鈥渟uck it up鈥� and start acting in the interests of all Canadians.
