The Avro Arrow could have flown supersonically 20 kilometres above sa国际传媒. It was a superb aircraft, but it could not have intercepted an enemy missile or bomber because it did not have the necessary radar.
The Canadian Defence Department could not afford both the airplane and the radar. Unfortunately, we had not twisted the U.S.'s arm into a joint program that could have afforded both.
