I hope Saanich voters notice that Mayor Richard Atwell and four others are running for Saanich council as a slate, purporting to be 鈥淯nited for Saanich.鈥� The math is simple: If the slate gets elected, they will hold the majority of council seats and their views will prevail on every vote.
We don鈥檛 need a party in power and a toothless opposition at the municipal level. Beware!
