I am alarmed at how easily, once again, we are willing to convict public servants in the court of public opinion using perp walks and innuendo. We then use this nasty term 鈥渙ngoing criminal investigation鈥 that hides all pertinent information from the public.

Who is being protected by this closing of ranks? I can only think that it protects those in power and those investigating, as the reputations of the accused are already destroyed.

As a citizen, I bear the shame still of the travesty of justice inflicted upon innocent employees, students and contractors by the Ministry of Heath data-handling fiasco.

If prosecutions/persecutions are to be done in the name of sa国际传媒 citizens, then as a citizen, I want to know why. I don鈥檛 need all the details of evidence, but I do need to know that such drastic action is justified.

This can only be done by naming the charge.

I implore all MLAs to put pressure where they can to ensure that this judicial process is transparent.
