It is ironic that the mayor of a municipality trying to deal with housing affordability would stoke an already overheated market by telling everyone that 鈥渓and is only going to go up in value 鈥� it鈥檚 not going to go down. So I think it鈥檚 a good investment.鈥�
Lisa Helps鈥� apparent fundamental misunderstanding of economics makes me think Victorians have voted in the wrong person to deal with this tragic housing crisis.
What does Coun. Ben Isitt think will happen to affordability once the city starts competing for the already-scarce development land?
The new council鈥檚 first investment should be an Economics 101 course.
