The caption underneath the photo stated that 17 boats were loaded onto floats and towed away. The contract being $404,350, this works out to $23,785.29 per boat, which seems a lot. The caption did not explain where the boats were being floated to for dismantling or if that was included in the $404,350 funding, which might explain the excessive cost.
