Council must restore public dialogue

Re: 鈥淐ore-area mayors focus on housing, diversity in inaugural addresses,鈥� Nov. 6. According to the article, Victoria Mayor Lisa Helps said: 鈥淲e really need to restore civility and decorum to public dialogue.鈥� In my opinion, she misses the point.

According to the article, Victoria Mayor Lisa Helps said: 鈥淲e really need to restore civility and decorum to public dialogue.鈥�

In my opinion, she misses the point. Once the mayor and council restore the essence of public dialogue, then civility and decorum will follow by themselves.
