Don鈥檛 put all our eggs in the U.S. trade basket

If anyone believes U.S. President Donald Trump when he says: 鈥淚鈥檓 looking after American jobs,鈥 they deserve the result, which will be like stepping back into the 1930s.

If Trump and his gang really wanted to protect American workers, he would have made a deal with sa国际传媒 first, and then used that as leverage to push Mexico into raising their standard of wages and worker rights to our level.

But he is doing exactly the opposite. His agenda is simple 鈥 stop sa国际传媒 from making life difficult for U.S. corporations with our environmental laws, worker-rights laws, lower drug prices and universal health care. He wants to bring sa国际传媒 down to the standard of living that Mexico suffers and stop Americans from aspiring to get what sa国际传媒 has. If he is successful, you won鈥檛 want to think about what living standards in sa国际传媒 will become.

Our biggest problem in sa国际传媒 is the same as it always has been 鈥 all our eggs are in one basket, the U.S. We must get trade deals with other countries, mainly the European Union.

Other than the EU, options are not as good, as other regions have worse working standards and income levels than the U.S. has. 鈥淔ree trade鈥 is not possible with Third World countries. A worker in sa国际传媒 can never compete with the wages, lack of benefits and living and working conditions in those countries.
