Interesting that our government is targeting such an ambitious program. Has anyone in government considered the cost? How will the millions of dollars in tax revenue from gasoline and diesel be recouped? Where will the revenue for highways (still going to be required for electric vehicles) come from? Where will the revenue for public transit come from? Are we to believe we will be allowed to drive down our highways free of charge?
I don鈥檛 hear any conversation on where this shortfall will be recovered. Anyone have a suggestion? All I see is huge increase in taxes.
