Congratulations for the editorial and your stance against proportional representation. Well done, as opposed to the way this was handled by the government.
This, again, is an example of the government鈥檚 methodology of holding power, throw it at the wall and see if it sticks, as has been the case with most of what they have done since taking power: 鈥淚f it creates a problem, we will change it,鈥� as they did last week in denouncing one of the PR methods they created. That, in itself, is reason enough to vote No.
Undoubtedly, people have already voted for the proposal in question. How fair and democratic is that? Move the goal posts at will. Speculation tax, ICBC changes 鈥� the list goes on and on.
