I was parked perfectly legally on the weekend in James Bay in a residential parking zone, visiting for a few days a friend living on the northeast corner of Niagara and Clarence, where I parked.
I found a note on my windshield delivered by the woman living at the northwest corner, who knew I was visiting her neighbour. My friend assured me the woman would call parking control first thing Monday morning to ticket the car and it would oblige her.
The note said: 鈥淧arking spot availability is often limited on this Street. We and our Neighbours often find it difficult to find a place to park in front of our home [sic]. Please do not park here again. Thank you.鈥
What chutzpah, what gall, what an incredible sense of entitlement. I hope from now on to park exactly there when I visit and will put in the writer鈥檚 mailbox a copy of the visitors-parking bylaw, which permits guests of residents to park in residential zones while visiting.
