Let me get this straight 鈥 Premier John Horgan refuses to work with the main opposition party on an issue that affects all elected members of the sa国际传媒 government, and those sa国际传媒 government employees who are trying their best to do a good, ethical job for all residents of this province.

Wow! And here I thought that he was elected to do the best thing for all of us, not just to score political points against those who proposed a non-partisan, co-operative process to mend a deeply flawed system in the legislature that has evolved over different administrations of all political stripes. It did not just develop under the previous government鈥檚 aegis.

I sincerely hope that the result of our byelection in Nanaimo sends a smarten-up message to Horgan to get past this impasse and govern with every resident of sa国际传媒 in mind.
