I understand that Washington Gov. Jay Inslee plans to do everything possible to help Premier John Horgan stop the Trans Mountain pipeline expansion.
Since Washington state has oil tankers travelling the entire British Columbia coast through Juan de Fuca Strait into Puget Sound on a daily basis, Inslee鈥檚 voice rings hollow. As well as this, his refineries also receive oil from the existing Trans Mountain pipeline.
Any opposition to this project must surely show Inslee to be a world-class hypocrite. He should also understand that the majority of British Columbians are in favour of this project.
