Maybe it鈥檚 just me, but why is it that every time Darryl Plecas, the current Speaker of the legislature, opens his mouth, I am reduced to immediate uncontrollable head-scratching?
We all recall Mr. Plecas鈥� histrionic news conferences from a few months ago, infused with head-scratching high drama that focused as much on himself as on the spending issues at hand.
And, on May 10, in explaining a speech made a few days earlier about leadership, he again managed to confound us with his statements and accompanying verbal calisthenics. He was apologizing for a speech he said went 鈥渟ideways.鈥�
And now, even more headscratching from Plecas. There have been reports that, under the guise of ensuring data security, he has had computers of legislature staffers cloned? Are we serious?
I could go on but first I鈥檇 better go buy some soothing ointment before encountering Mr. Plecas鈥� next head scratching actions and utterances, as no doubt there will be even more.
But maybe it鈥檚 just me.
