I agree with the editorial that suggests the Maritime Museum of sa国际传媒 should be next to the water, with a wharf that could hold heritage boats. This is pretty much the way of any maritime museum I鈥檝e ever been to.
What about the long unused Northern Junk Company location? A couple of heritage buildings with nautical history could be restored, with a view over the waterfront.
It would need additional space, but it鈥檚 a start. And there鈥檚 a wharf in front that seems rarely used. It鈥檚 a great walk-to location, and trails go right by it.
It certainly seems like a better solution than a proposed highrise condo development there.
