Mayor suggested bias in favour of Elsner

Re: 鈥淪tiff penalties on ex-police chief鈥檚 record,鈥� Sept. 27. Victoria Mayor Lisa Helps showed her bias about former police chief Frank Elsner the minute she uttered the sentence: 鈥淗e鈥檚 the best thing that ever happened to us.

Victoria Mayor Lisa Helps showed her bias about former police chief Frank Elsner the minute she uttered the sentence: 鈥淗e鈥檚 the best thing that ever happened to us.鈥� This alone should have exempted her from any investigation and judgment on the Elsner case.

Give me strength! And she鈥檚 been running this city for four years?
