While chaos reigns in the sa国际传媒 legislature over possibly hundreds of thousands of dollars in unjustified expenses, the new mayor of Sidney gets a front-page reference on an oversight of $1,877 over the limit on campaign expenses. If only this expense-checker could have brought the same diligence to the legislature, we would all be better off.
Don鈥檛 even consider another election here in Sidney. Mayor Cliff McNeil-Smith鈥檚 majority was impressive. All he has to do is pay a modest fine, apologize for the error (which, I am sure, was only that, an error) and let鈥檚 get on with running the town of Sidney better than they run the sa国际传媒 legislature.
