I read the coverage of our newest coast guard ship in the 鈥渃rash with breakwater.鈥�
Crash incidents have been described as: we 鈥渘udged a rock,鈥� or we 鈥渇ound poor fenders,鈥� or we 鈥渟et upon a gentle gravel bar,鈥� or we 鈥渕ade regular landing, hard,鈥� or we 鈥渕ade stop, quickly,鈥� or we 鈥渟nagged over it,鈥� or we 鈥渟topped up, upon something,鈥� or we 鈥渘eed stronger propellers.鈥�
Fortunately in this incident, it appears nobody got harmed, only feathers got ruffled and no critters were oiled.
Money will fix the hull, rudder, propeller, engine controls and pride.
