Whatever, if any, punishment is meted out to clerk Craig James and sergeant-at-arms Gary Lenz, who stand accused of bilking the sa国际传媒 legislature by Speaker Darryl Plecas, should be applied equally to Plecas for signing off on the expenditures that he now finds so offensive. The justification he gives that he was new to the job of Speaker and therefore approved the expenditures as a matter of expediency is a hollow, hypocritical excuse. If ever there was a case of the kettle calling the pot black, this is it.
