As we are to retain our system of voting, it is my privilege to let readers know that our Constitution clearly states that we have the government of our lieutenant-governor, in section 3(3), our premier is the president of our executive council 鈥渃omposed of the persons the lieutenant-governor appoints,鈥� in section 9, and that our MLAs represent, not the political parties whose candidates they were, but 鈥渢he electoral district for which the member was elected,鈥� in section 18.
That means our political system is and will remain democratic.
