By all means, let鈥檚 have an audit (and an autopsy) on the Johnson Street Bridge boondoggle. Let鈥檚 also prevent the same madly out-of-control spending on the upcoming Crystal Pool replacement.
Put the pool on hold until the lessons from the bridge are learned. I鈥檓 sure that I am not the only taxpayer in the city of Victoria who has no confidence in the current elected or administrative regimes.
After Oct. 22, a sober look at the city鈥檚 priorities and finances will be in order. Let鈥檚 not allow the current council to jump off the financial cliff, taking the long-suffering taxpayers with them.
