Come on, Victorians, please just let up on grouching about the cycle lanes. It鈥檚 done and dusted and the negative comments are just plain tiresome.
We are in our 70s and use them regularly and feel much safer when we cycle, which is year-round.
In regard to doing a survey of their use during the winter months, it鈥檚 a non-issue.
We see lots of riders using them in the cold weather, and families, too.
Some of us do get of out of our cars and use other means of transport. It鈥檚 time to leave it alone and embrace the fact that Victoria is bringing about change that will enhance the quality of life for all residents and visitors to this lovely city.
