In her victory speech, Victoria Mayor Lisa Helps said: 鈥淭his campaign has been a referendum on the future of the city.鈥� As referendums require at least 50 per cent plus one to pass, it is clear that the anti-Helps factions carried the day. The mayor is trying to convince voters of the opposite.
It looks as if Victorians get another four years of disingenuous rhetoric and buzzword bafflegab.
