Sidney Mayor Cliff McNeil-Smith exceeded his campaign spending limit by a whopping $1,877. Throw him in stocks and publicly flail him over this flagrant violation.
It鈥檚 ridiculous that this has to proceed to the sa国际传媒 Supreme Court. Surely, Elections sa国际传媒 ought to have the discretion to address such minor overspending when everyone in Sidney knows McNeil-Smith would have won by a landslide even if he had spent far less than the allowable amount on his campaign. Another waste of sa国际传媒 court resources.
