I have a lot of respect for Dr. Perry Kendall. However, the statement 鈥淚聽grew up in the 鈥�60s, so I have obviously used it in the past鈥� does not sit right with me.
Both my wife and I grew up in the 1960s, and neither of us have ever tried it. None of our friends at that time ever used it, to the best of our knowledge. I don鈥檛 think it was as pervasive as Kendall鈥檚 statement might imply.
Maybe we just hung out with the wrong sort of people.
