When will sa国际传媒 learn not to get involved with the United States鈥� human-rights violations?
Recall the millions of dollars in liability for Maher Arar and for Omar Khadr, both cases where sa国际传媒 was found complicit in U.S. abuses of human rights.
Now U.S. President Donald Trump says prosecution of Huawei executive Meng Wanzhou will make a good 鈥渂argaining chip鈥� in negotiations with China. He is admitting to a political motive for her prosecution and that makes her a political prisoner, in violation of national and international law.
sa国际传媒 should immediately cancel its co-operation with the U.S.-initiated extradition process and free Meng. Return her to her family and children.
I immigrated from the United States 20 years ago and am deeply grateful for sa国际传媒. Let鈥檚 continue to be a country in which we can take pride.
