What kind of bureaucratic insanity is this? A speculation tax to be levied on every property holder unless they can prove they are not a speculator?
I was under the impression we were in a democracy, and within a legal system, where one is innocent unless proven guilty. Now it seems it鈥檚 the other way round.
I have to fill out some form every year swearing: 鈥淚 am not a speculator, I have never been one, I do not plan to be one, I do not knowingly consort with speculators, so help me God.鈥�
Is this tax even legal?
And I think it an outrageous invasion of privacy.
We are a capitalist society, not communistic.
