Taxi drivers not only people ignoring the law

I agree with the crackdown, as I see taxis hungry for another fare. I witnessed four taxis travel through the stop sign at Oswego Street and Dallas Road heading for the cruise-ship terminal.

Then again, I see many drivers travelling too fast and not stopping at stop signs. I also notice people waiting at crosswalks while four or five cars drive past ignoring them. Are car salespeople responsible for showing buyers of cars how to use their turn signals? If so, buyers are not paying attention.

On another note, there are many automatic signs showing you how fast you are driving. Maybe a good idea would be to post the speed as it is supposed to be, above or below the sign, and then show you how fast you are driving.

A driver's test may show some people their faults in driving if they are so ignorant.
