Interesting comments in the story on the Saanich property-tax increase from Coun. Colin Plant about the lack of public engagement in the budget process: 鈥淚s telling me that we鈥檙e getting it right.鈥�
I disagree with him and am thinking that taxpayers as a whole are perhaps tired of not being listened to by the various politicians and just gave up trying to be heard.
