The first thing I saw when I got the paper on Wednesday morning was the tent-city picture.
I was a single parent with no child support. I applied for a job and got it. I had to pay rent on an apartment, I had to get a vehicle to get my son to daycare and then I went to work.
There are 鈥渉elp wanted鈥� signs at Tim Hortons, McDonald鈥檚 and Home Hardware. Tent-city individuals need to be responsible for their actions, instead of looking for handouts.
