Thin whales mean smart salmon

Prey animals are always on the lookout for their predators. If I were a tasty salmon, I would certainly keep well clear of the sounds of whale-watching boats.

If I were a tasty salmon, I would certainly keep well clear of the sounds of whale-watching boats.

I鈥檓 guessing that salmon have figured out that within earshot of the whale-watching boat sounds there will be a pod of skinny, hungry predators.
